Class Weight (including driver & gear): Flathead Engines 385 lbs., OHV Engines 425 lbs.
Engine Rules
Any stock or modified single cylinder four stroke 200 cc stock style small block engine – Briggs Flathead, Briggs Animal, Honda, Honda Clone, Predator, Kohler, Robin. Any cam, piston, rod, crank, or carb are permitted.
OHV Engines
250cc max displacement
No Biilet Heads
Billet Side Covers ARE allowed
Tillotson style cast blocks ARE allowed
Billet or Approved PVL flywheel REQUIRED
Flathead Engines
Billet Heads ARE allowed
Billet Side Covers ARE allowed
Billet or Approved PVL flywheel REQUIRED
*Engine blocks and cylinder heads must remain as cast. Welding: No external welding to reinforce or external welding to modify. The only external welding allowed is for cracks and/or damage repair.
*Only one engine allowed - no multiples.
*No motorcycle engines, gear boxes, or CVT drives.
*No Fuel Injection or battery powered ignition system.
Fuel Rules
*Any type of fuel
*No nitrous oxide or forced induction systems.
Clutch Rules
*Any dry external clutch, disc or drum.
*Only #35 Chain Drive. No jack shafts.
Kart Safety
*One wing only - may be adjustable
*Wing cannot be longer or wider than the kart
*Side Panels on nerf bars 16” max from ground to top of panel. Cannot extend rearward past rear tire.
*Bodies and Wings must be made of safe material and properly secured (fiberglass, high density polyethylene plastic, aluminum and Lexan are allowed). No plexiglass, wood, cardboard or carbon fiber.
*Arm Restraints Required. Fire Suit Required. Bolt on or Welded Cage Required.
*Chain guards Required.
Tire Rules
*Any compound, Any brand Tires. Grooved or Slick tires allowed.
Basic Rules
*Regular Track Points Awarded
*Starting Grid is determined by points: Highest points driver starts at the rear of the heat race field, 2nd in points starts 2nd to last, etc. Pill draw for all without points for all forward remaining spots.
